Over the past few months I have been contacted by many photographers and non-photographers wishing to help in any way they can with Celebrate Life. I am excited that this idea is growing and I can’t pretend to know the direction it will take. I can only give it wings and watch it fly. So that being said I am putting together some information to help get things started and maintain the core idea behind Celebrate Life.
Celebrate Life is a challenge to take an active roll in your community. Your neighbors, their neighbors and so on. As a photographer you have been given an amazing gift. Give through your art.
The Blog
This blog will serve as a landing pad for Celebrate life. One of the thoughts is that each photographers from all over will be listed on the “photographer finder”. Photographers that join in will create a link on their blog or site linking back to http://www.lifecelebrated.org
All photographers involved will also be allowed to post their “stories” of families that have been given this gift of photography ( all signed releases and contracts must be in place)
Stories and images will be posted by Admins only. Currently I am the only admin, but as things change there will be more admins added.
Nominations and forms
Each photographer is required to donate at least 1-4 sessions per year.
All nominations, contracts and forms are the sole responsibility of the photographer who does the session.
Match Forms is a wonderful way for you to be able to create easy forms that will work for your business.

The Gift
The gift that is required:
The donation of a full session ( for the family and if they request grandparents or special individuals within reason)
25 plus images are required
printed loose proofs of the gallery images. This gives the family something tangible and special to have right away. Any digital images and or additional products are up to the photographer.
I like to offer my Celebrate Life families an on-line gallery with discounted pricing. I also offer each Celebrate Life client all of their images on disk but this is entirely up to you.
How you package or present your images is up to you.
