Celebrate Life- talented photographers giving through their art

After much thought, prayer and soul searching I have decided not to seek non-profit status for Celebrate life.  When searching out the how-to’s of creating a non-profit, I stumbled upon a site that posed 3 questions… Does the world need another non-profit? Are there other non-profits like yours out there? Can you still accomplish what you set out to do without becoming a non-profit? 

For me the answer to all of these questions was YES…

There are already so many other  wonderful non-profits out there in the world seeking out money and awareness for their causes.

It seems to me that in  the journey to become a non-profit, something would be lost in the message of Celebrate Life.

Celebrate life is really an idea. It is the idea that  one small act of giving can effect the world and those who live in it in so many ways.

Celebrate life is photographers all over the world, giving back through their art and paying it forward. 

This small act of paying it forward is larger than we know. I am amazed at how many wonderful photographers there are out there giving of their time and talents. It is truly wonderful!

There have been so many wonderful photographers wanting to join in Celebrate Life and this makes me so happy.

So rather than being an organization, charity or guild and confining ourselves to this definition…let us continue to be this idea. A quiet undercurrent of giving that grows and spreads and inspires.

This blog will be the landing pad for those photographers involved in these acts of giving. Let us be aware of those in our community and reach out. In these times when a gift of the heart can mean so much more than a monetary donation. Give the gift of memories.
